Paulina Springs Books enjoys a strong relationship with educators all across Central Oregon. We offer a variety of services to all members of the education community. These include:
EDUCATIONAL DISCOUNTS - Whenever possible (which is nearly always), we offer a 20% educational discount to teachers and students for any books to be used in association with classroom study. If teachers let us know the book selection on their summer reading lists, we will maintain stock on hand for students who come looking for the titles. Of course, the educational discount would apply.
EDUCATIONAL SOURCING - We make the process of ordering books super easy for educators and librarians. Email us a list of books you are interested in (titles and author), and any pertinent detail information (hardcover or paperback), and we will send you back a quote including all cost information, availablility, and expected length of time before delivery can be made. If you have a budget to work with, but do not have a specific selection of books, give us some information about the nature of books you want and we will assemble of list of suggestions. We pride ourselves on providing you with the best pricing and the best service you can find anywhere.
AUTHORS FOR YOUR CLASSROOM - We can help you find authors who might be available to do presentations in your classroom.
BOOKSTORE TOURS - We welcome class visits to Paulina Springs Books. We can provide information to your students on a variety of topics - from authors they are curious about, to the latest and greatest titles hitting the shelves, to information pertinent to running a bookstore, ... or even a read-aloud storytime. Just contact us and we can discuss a date and time that would be best.
TEACHERS' BOOK INTRODUCTION EVENING - Every fall we host an evening for teachers and educators featuring a presentation of newly released titles that might prove useful to your school year, a 20% storewide discount, door prizes, and refreshments. It's fun and it's free!
